Your Questions, Our Answers

We've compiled a list of common inquiries to help you plan your next adventure with clarity and confidence.

How do I book a tour with Roam & Ripple Adventures?

Booking with us is simple! You can browse our adventure packages on the 'Our Adventures' page and send an inquiry, or for bespoke trips, simply fill out our Plan My Trip form. A dedicated travel designer will then connect with you to discuss your preferences and craft your perfect itinerary.

What is the payment process?

Once your itinerary is finalised, we require an initial deposit to secure your booking. The remaining balance is typically due 60-90 days prior to your departure date. We accept various payment methods, including bank transfers and major credit cards. Our travel designers will provide a detailed payment schedule for your specific trip.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy varies depending on the specific tour, destination, and booking terms with our third-party partners. Generally, cancellations made well in advance of the departure date may be eligible for a partial refund, while late cancellations may incur full forfeiture. We highly recommend reviewing the specific terms outlined in your booking agreement and considering travel insurance to protect your investment.

What should I pack for my adventure?

A comprehensive packing list tailored to your specific destination and activities will be provided well in advance of your departure. Generally, we advise packing layers, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), and a reusable water bottle. Depending on your destination, waterproof gear or specific outdoor equipment may also be recommended.

Do I need visas for international travel?

Visa requirements depend on your nationality and the destination(s) you plan to visit. Our team will provide guidance on applicable visa requirements for your itinerary. It is ultimately your responsibility to obtain all necessary visas and travel documents before your trip.

What vaccinations are required?

Vaccination requirements vary by destination and are subject to change. We strongly recommend consulting with your local health practitioner or a travel medical specialist several months before your departure to discuss recommended vaccinations and preventative measures for the regions you will be visiting.

Is travel insurance included in your packages?

Travel insurance is not typically included in our base tour packages, but it is a mandatory requirement for all Roam & Ripple Adventures participants. We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, lost luggage, and personal liability. We can provide recommendations for reputable insurance providers.

What are your safety protocols on tours?

Your safety is our utmost priority. All our tours are meticulously planned, and we work only with reputable local operators who adhere to strict safety standards. Our guides are experienced, trained in first aid, and knowledgeable about local conditions. We conduct thorough risk assessments for all activities and provide detailed safety briefings before each excursion.

Who will be my guide during the trip?

For guided tours and expeditions, you will be accompanied by certified, experienced, and passionate local guides who possess in-depth knowledge of the region, its culture, and environment. For bespoke luxury itineraries, you may have different local experts for specific activities, all coordinated seamlessly by your dedicated travel designer.

What level of fitness is required for your adventure tours?

The fitness level required varies significantly between our tours. Each adventure package clearly outlines the physical demands, from leisurely cultural explorations to challenging wilderness treks. We encourage you to honestly assess your capabilities and choose a trip that aligns with your fitness level. If you have any concerns, please discuss them with our team when planning your trip.
